Project Goals

  • Enhance Visitor Engagement
Introduce a dynamic interactive feature that strengthens the connection between visitors and MOPOP’s iconic guitar collection.

  • Entertaining Interactive Quiz
Create a fun quiz experience that encourages participation and leaves a lasting impression.

  • Educational Exploration
Include an engaging element that teaches visitors about the history and cultural significance of the guitars on display.

  • Increase Revenue Opportunities
Incorporate quiz incentives such as discounted admission, café specials, and gift shop vouchers to encourage purchases and repeat visits.

Applied background image, updated fonts, and refined accent colors to strengthen visual identity


Switched to dark mode for improved visual contrast and user experience

Added musician images and captions to the guitar carousel to provide context

Removed backgrounds from guitar images for a cleaner presentation

Designed a Quiz Home Page and instructional pages to improve navigation and clarity

Added a post-quiz overlay with options to go to the next quiz or get rewards

During our last round of testing we were able to focus on UI/UX refinements.

Prototype Revisions

Updated guitar image orientation to vertical for improved layout and visual emphasis

Relocated sound button adjacent to the guitar for better context and usability

Enlarged guitar image and added a swiping option for the carousel

Changed background to dark mode theme for better color contrast and accessibility

Softened accent colors for a more cohesive and modern aesthetic

Adjusted spacing and padding

Updated navigation for a more cohesive feel

Implemented an end-of-quiz overlay with options to proceed or exit, enhancing user flow

Refined layout, alignment, spacing, and padding for improved visual hierarchy and consistency

Introduced auto-play animation to enhance engagement and understanding
